يستند هذا المشروع الكتابي التجريبي إلى الذاكرة التي تتركها المدن في التجربة اليومية. كيف تتحرّك فينا، وتعيد تشكيل حضورنا، وتفتح أسئلتها عن المكان والإنسان. يحاول أن يقترب من العلاقة المعقّدة بين الفرد ومدينة تعلّمه وتُربكه في الوقت نفسه، وأن يصغي إلى قصص الفنّانين وإيقاعات ممارساتهم، وإلى ما تتركه الذاكرة الجماعية من أثر محسوس.

This experimental writing project grows out of the memories cities leave in the body; how urban spaces stain our days, shape our movements, and press themselves into the smallest parts of our interior lives. It follows the shifting relationship between people and their cities, and lingers with the stories artists carry: their practices, their desires, their brief, flickering traces of communal memory.
I wrote this narrative as part of the storytelling space at Masaha residency with Misk Art Institute in Riyadh, where I was a writer-in-residence.
